Carlos Caballero Valdes is currently DFX Supervisor at MPC Film’s Montreal studio.
His most recent work as a DFX Supervisor was on Disney’s Dumbo, leading a team to craft the movies main characters, environments and FX simulations. Prior to that Carlos oversaw the compositing team as 2D Supervisor on a number of high profile movies including Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, where MPC created the Salazaar and the ghost crew and Sea battles and environments, Terminator Genisys, which included creating a Young Arnold digital double. As a Composting artist, Carlos crafted the VFX for X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Martian, Man of Steel, Skyfall, Total Recall and Captain America: The First Avenger amongst others.
