Inspired by the revolutionary VFX of Terminator 2: Judgment Day while studying graphic design at university, Chad Nixon shifted his specialism to computer animation and ignited a career that would eventually span multiple continents and roles before joining Cinesite Montreal, initially as an Executive Producer.

Chad came aboard Cinesite in late 2017 to help the team complete its work on Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp. Advancing from Executive Producer to Head of Production, his role has evolved from interfacing with studios and producers about potential projects, to navigating the VFX division through tight deadlines and unexpected challenges, whilst encouraging a cohesive, collaborative unit.

Even more than two decades into his career, Chad feels invigorated by his new role with Cinesite and the incredible unit that he’s become a part of. “This team’s talent and personality is what makes you come to work,” he says.
